Off-peak and super off-peak
It’s always cheaper to travel by train if you can avoid travelling during peak hours. Peak time services run Monday – Friday arriving in London before 10.00am.
So, if you’re not in a rush, or if your schedule allows for some flexibility, save money by using one of the National Rail Off-Peak tickets. If you can travel after 10am, you may be entitled to further discounts with a Super Off-Peak ticket.
