If you’re looking for an opportunity to use your knowledge and experience along local cycle routes, this role will enable you to make a real difference to everyday cycling and walking in Dartford and Gravesham.
Sustrans’ Community Route Champions monitor and maintain the everyday off-road cycling routes that are important for so many journeys.
From clearing overgrown vegetation to cleaning signs, and reporting potholes to Kent County Council Highways Department, you’ll be doing practical activities to keep these routes usable.
As part of Sustrans national Volunteer Programme, you’ll receive training and support from your local Sustrans Volunteer Co-ordinator and your fellow Champions.
