Park and ride

If you’re heading into Canterbury or Maidstone why not take advantage of the Park and Ride bus services?  Whether you’re a commuter, shopper or visitor, these buses are frequent, easy-to-use and cost effective.

All Park & Ride facilities are located within walking or cycling distance of the town centre. You could even park your car and switch to two legs a couple of times a week.  Or, if you’re lucky enough to have a bike that fits in your car, bring it with you and switch to two wheels. Willington Street P&R in Maidstone and Wincheap P&R in Canterbury have particularly scenic (and mostly off-road) routes into town, via Mote Park and The Great Stour Way respectively.

Wincheap P&R has a secure cycle compound where regular cyclists can leave their your cycle overnight. Read more about it here.
